Healthy Lunch Ideas For Kids For School - Lunches In A Bento Box

Are you looking for healthy lunch ideas for you child that you could serve in a bento box?  If so, then take a look at some lunch ideas that I found online.  The nice thing about bento boxes is that your can divide your child's lunch into different compartments within the bento box.  You can also prepare a lunch for your child according to the four food groups like dairy, meat, vegetables and fruits.

That way, your child gets a variety of food from the different food groups for a nutritional healthy meal.  I think that serving your child's lunch in a bento box makes it much more interesting and FUN for your child to eat.  Lunches are more visually appealing and more likely to be consumed by your child because they are FUN and exciting with something different in their bento box each day.

It is very easy with a bento box to vary their lunches to keep them interesting and healthy for your kids to eat.  Personally, I like to serve things like sandwiches, wraps, cut up fruits and vegetables, cheese and crackers, watermelon, boiled eggs and more.

Serving lunches in a bento box are endless depending on what your child likes.

Another nice thing about serving lunches for kids in a bento box is the fact that their lunch won't get squished inside their lunch box. There is nothing worse then a squashed lunch which would make in very unappealing for your child to eat.

Below you will find some lunch ideas to prepare for your kids using a bento box. I have also made some suggestions in terms of different types and styles of bento boxes available on the market.

If you are on Pinterest like I am, you can save any of these lunch ideas for furture reference on your boards.

Kristine's lunches are served in bento-style stainless steel containers.  She also used silicone cups to hold different foods in the bento box compartmentsShe likes the fact that when her kids open up their bento box they have their whole lunch right in front of them which makes it easier for kids.
